Khor Virap is a historic monastery famous for its postcard views of Mount Ararat. Travellers can visit the underground pit where Armenia’s patron saint was once imprisoned, and admire one of the most photographed views in the country.

Dilijan is a forested resort town often called the ‘Armenian Switzerland’. Visitors can wander the restored old town, hike wooded trails around Lake Parz, and enjoy the cool mountain air of one of Armenia’s most scenic regions.
